City of the Unexpected was a celebration held throughout the city of Cardiff over the weekend of Roald Dhal's centennial.  I worked with a massive team to help create various props that were used in the mobile set pieces.  I was then partnered with an amazing Puppet maker, Izzy Bristow, who designed a giraffe puppet that was added to the existing animal wall at Cardiff Castle.  Six puppets in total were created for the wall, as well as static figures, for which I created a sloth. Gertie the Giraffe bent over the wall into the audience to stick out her colorful tongue!
