Conceptual Design for Verdi's "Un Ballo in Maschera" for the Wales Millennium Center. I set this massive opera in the 1980s at the height of the Drug wars in Colombia.  Based around Drug Lords, like Pablo Escobar, I wanted to transport the audience to South America,  and show the dangerous world of smuggling that was rampant at the time.  The set consists of a shanty town made out of pallets and found materials you would see in a shipping warehouse.
